I graduated from Bayly School of Reflexology with a Diploma in Reflexology. I am a member of the British Reflexology Association.
Doreen Bayly brought reflexology to Great Britain in the 1960s and founded the School at which I studied. The course consisted of 7 weekend modules on anatomy and physiology which I covered in two years. Between each module I completed 11 practical case studies consisting of six weekly treatments and a report outlining the client’s health history and analyzing each treatment.
I have completed over 300 treatments and my past and present clients have had a range of disorders including stress, IBS, eczema, high blood pressure, arthritis and Parkinson’s Disease. All have been very pleased with the treatments and found reflexology very relaxing and beneficial. One client felt so much better he was able to give up smoking.
Prior to re-training as a reflexologist, I worked in Adult and Further Education for many years, teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) and computing and supporting dyslexic students. I am, therefore, used to working with a wide range of people. I also do some volunteer work for a Cancer Support Group in north London.
